A BUS collided with a car on the Amanzimtoti River bridge along Kingsway Road on Friday. Reports from the scene indicate that the bus was rounding a bend coming down a steep hill when it collided with the car on the bridge.

According to Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha paramedics found that the car had been pushed through the railings of the bridge.

“The female driver sustained moderate injuries, one of the passengers from the bus escaped with minor injuries,” said Botha.

Medics stabilised the injured at the scene before taking them to hospital.
