South Africa’s top young jazz-inspired bands can now compete for a chance to shine at the Cape Town International Jazz Festival (CTIJF) stage.
espAfrika, producers of the prestigious festival have launched a brand new initiative called #espYoungLegends which will see them scour the country in search of fresh talent.
This annual competition will join espAfrika’s training and development commitment to growing a sustainable and professional entertainment sector and was developed to open the CTIJF stage to an even wider group of undiscovered bands.

Entries will be narrowed down to a Top 20 by a panel of submission judges, before a public voting process on the espAfrika website for a guaranteed spot in the top five. A panel of judges will then choose the winner.
