The First Friday conversation will take place on February 5 at the Desmond Tutu Hall from 3pm to 7pm.
Organised by Makhaza Lifestyle, the session will see speakers like Ian Culvert from Redbull Amaphiko, Dillion Phiri of Creative Nestling and Wandisile Ngqeketo founder of 18 Gangster Museum, Abrahma Abe from Falsebay College tackle various aspects of being a social entrepreneur.
Makhaza Lifestyle founder Siyabulela Sophi said the sessions will help entrepreneurs think “out of the box”.
“We leave in a civilised society where everything happens in a blink of an eye and we have to be constantly armed for many situations,” he said.
He The 1st Friday session will continue taking on the first week of evry month.
“The birth of The 1st Friday Conversations was due to the eagerness to solve major social economic issues and to directly involve the future of this nation the youth in the solution seeking process,” he said.
