Khayelitsha’s Zanele Ludwangu is one of many hopeful women vying for the coveted Miss Eagle South Africa (Mesa) 2018 title.
According to organisers they are looking for an Eagle out there in South Africa who will do great things in the country.
“She will represent South Africa on a national and international platform,” said Mesa through statement.
“I am a blissful person and I have a great personality. I am comfortable in my own skin, I am a very organised person and have good manners,” said the 21 year old Zanele explaining to City Vision why she should be voted.
She further explained that it is not about winning the competition but “about trying”.
Growing up she was an introvert but after learnt cycling she overcame that and now is poised to conquer the modelling world.
“I knew I had a potential to be a model but I just didn’t have the guts to do it. It all started when I was in Grade 11 that’s when i fell in love with modelling. Miss Eagle SA has encouraged me to express myself and and I believe that the contest will give women a platform to embrace and show their talents,” she said.
