It was a purpose driven day in Langa Sports Complex last Saturday, when women from all walks of life gathered to celebrate their womanhood.
One could have easily mistaken it for a “J&B Met” affair. The event was graced with guest speakers who wowed the audience with their speeches.
The five speakers were Nomsa Ntshuntshe-who spoke on Health Wellness and spoke at length about the dangers of Cervical cancer and how one could minimize the risks; Nkosazana Madinga- who shared advice on Financial stability and the importance of Saving; Lungi Solanga spoke about spirituality and touched everyone in the crowd and Tshepo Sikupela- who shocked the crowd with the Child Support right to sue the grand parents should the biological father not be able to make ends meet.
Nondumiso Mtshiselwa, the MC, made it a point that the crowd was entertained and shared women stuff such as “#UkutyelanaMustFall” antics.
It was an auspicious event and all who were there learnt a thing or two.
The chairperson of Anglican Women Fellowship would like to extend a warm hand of gratitude to all those who graced the event as it was a “sold out” event.
