Nyanga cluster police welcomed the sentencing of a 25-year-old man for two house robberies.
The Western Cape Wynberg regional court sentenced Frankford Nigel for the offences he committed in May 2016 and Augsut 2017.
Captail Ntomboxolo Sitshitshi said the sentencing sends a strong message to offenders.
"To those that continue to threaten, disturb and terrorise the peace of our people must know that they will be dealt with.. We hope that this will act as a message to anyone involved in such crimes," she says.
During the robberies, Nigel had threatened his victims with firearms before robbing them off their cellphones, jewellery and money, among other things
