THE Sector Two Community Policing Forum held a crime awareness day at Waterloo Primary School to educate the public and pupils about the increase of social crimes.

Sector Two manager Sergeant Nishen Padaychee, together with the local sub forum of the community police, gave educational talk to the pupils on rape and other forms of abuse.

Police spokesperson in Verulam Captain Henry Kisten said: “Speakers at the function encouraged the community to get involved in community projects.

Sergeant Padayachee also thanked the CPF, teachers of Waterloo Primary and the sponsors for their generous donations towards the meals and refreshments for the pupils at the school.

The event was very successful,” Kisten said. -Supplied
