WHAT is Feedy Needy?

Feedy Needy is a local relief and development organisation founded in 2009 by Mahomed Zaied Mahomed Haniff. Vision - a caring world where the basic requirements of the underprivileged are fulfilled.

Mission - to develop safe and caring communities making it possible for donors to reach those in need of help.

For this to be achieved Feedy Needy raises funds and networks as it works towards education and training, orphan and vulnerable children, feeding programme and hampers.

Feedy Needy implements its activities regardless of race, religion, colour or gender, and without expecting anything in return.

Values - accountability, humanitarianism, inclusiveness, integrity and co-operation.

What does Feedy Needy do?

Education and training, health and nutrition, orphans support programme, fund-raising (cash or kind ), emergency support to orphans and underprivileged, HIV, diabetes and high blood pressure.

Where does Feedy Needy work?

Throughout KZN where orphans benefit from monthly food hampers, school uniforms, stationery, blankets and clothing for winter, proper healthcare and education.

To achieve this Feedy Needy has an orphan-sponsorship programme, were it will cost donors R800 monthly.

Project cost overview - orphan support - R6 000, R800, per month, which includes monthly hamper, health and education, school stationery and clothing.

School feeding - any amount, providing lunch to poor and underprivileged school children.

Feeding scheme - any amount, providing underprivileged with hot meals on a monthly basis.

Education and training providing school requirements and fees.

Health care - any amount, HIV, diabetes, high blood pressure.
