THE Caltex site known as Impala Service Station has recently opened a new FreshStop store at 21/23 Ireland Street in Verulam.
The previously unbranded store has been completely renovated and now offers all the quality products and services offered by FreshStop.
In addition, the Caltex forecourt has also been upgraded with a new canopy, pumps and tanks and now also boasts the latest in 20/20 Caltex imagery.
FreshStop at Caltex Verulam opened its doors on August 24, and offers residents and commuters a 24-hour convenience shopping experience that includes the first and only Crispy Chicken outlet in the area, FreshStop’s own in-house fast-food brand.
As the 258th store nationally, the store offers a range of fresh fruit and vegetables, a selection of grocery items and a grab-n-go section with fresh sandwiches, pies, salads, smoothies and snacks.
In addition Crispy Chicken also offers self-service Lavazza coffee, Standard Bank and FNB ATMs as well as a host of services that include an Aramex Store-to-Door Courier Service.
The store retailer, who has a BCom IT and finance degree and has managed the site for four years, says: “The Caltex site itself has been owned by our family for over 30 years so it has been a long journey. However, the store has come out beautifully and I’m sure the people of Verulam will appreciate this new and exciting offering.
“We are also very proud of being able to offer jobs to 25 people from the local community and we will continue to serve our customers in the most personal and best way possible.”
We wish the retailer, his family and the team all the best for the opening of this 258th FreshStop at Caltex Verulam store. - Supplied.
