UMZIMKHULU SAPS donated groceries to two disadvantaged Umzimkhulu families on Tuesday as part of celebrating Mandela Day. They also painted the roof of a mud rondavel and replaced windows and doors.
Another family from Sisulu township also received food donated from the South African Social Security Agency and SAPS.

Lieutenant-Colonel Ralph Ruiters from Umzimkhulu SAPS said the families were identified by community policing forums and members of SAPS youth forums.

“SAPS were assisted by local businesses to make Mandela Day successful.”
