GREETINGS to all.

Municipal wellness programme

I would like to thank both the municipal netball and soccer teams that won at the Avbob Tournament at Mbizweni Sport Ground.

Winning in these two codes is a true reflection on the improved working relations among our employees. We also understand these employees do not participate in sport every day, so win indicates that our employees are serious about take part in employment wellness programmes.

As a municipality, we would like to commend Avbob and other sponsors who continue to sponsor our programme, and look forward to a possible partnership with them.

Women’s Month

This year had been marked as the year of caring, integrity and accountability hence it had been declared as “The Year of OR Tambo.”

It is on that note that we invite stakeholders to create an enabling environment for women to grow in their respective corners.

Under the theme, “Women United in Moving South Africa Forward,” we call on men to look after women so that young boys will be inspired to look after girls, and in doing so, create a responsible society.

Till we meet again.
