Successful 2016 local government elections
I would like to commend the people of Umzimkhulu for their voting turnout. Through their votes they played a significant role in taking this rural municipality to another level. The next five years will be some of the most crucial years since democracy and more significantly, our service delivery will be different. As the municipality, we applaud stakeholders for political tolerance and maturing.
KZN Santaco Manco meeting in Umzimkhulu
It was pleasing to see vehicles flocking to Umzimkhulu as the KZN South African National Taxi Council held a meeting in Umzimkhulu. This means that when people flock to a particular area it taps into tourism and provokes economical spin-offs.
Women’s Day
It is even Biblically sanctified that women are the most critical part of society because when you give a woman a house, she gives you a home. When women are given peanuts, they provide peanut butter. That shows the unmeasurable abilities women have in society.
