UMZIMKHULU Local Municipality manager Zweliphansi Skhosana was named Best Municipal Manager in KZN at the KZN Premier’s Service Awards held at the ICC in Durban last Thursday.
Umzimkhulu
Local Municipality was named Best Municipality in KZN. Skhosana was appointed manager in 2012 and when he took the position he said Umzimkhulu town was in bad shape, however, it has since developed into something better.

He thanked the media, Umzimkhulu municipal employees and government departments for working with him to develop the area. Under Skhosana’s leadership the municipality received a clean audit outcome for two terms and was also awarded the Best IDP Municipality in KZN for three terms. Skhosana said the face of Umzimkhulu town has changed for the better and is attracting investors.
