A lot of explaining needed from Magashule

Thebe Moroe, Bloemfontein:

Let me correct Elias Ace Magashule regarding his intention to go to the Zondo Commission about state capture, as per his address to members of the Congress of South African Students at the Braam Fischer Building.

He said he wants to testify before the Zondo Commission of inquiry into state capture to tell his side of the story.

Magashule implied that he has damning information against those ANC members whom he said were captured by white monopoly interests.

“I want to go to that commission‚ if I am so implicated. I want to go because if one goes there‚ one can relay many other stories.”

No sir, it is not where you are needed for now. You owe us, the Free State residents, a lot of explaining about the following: What happened to funds meant for Winnie Mandela’s house in Brandfort, the Estina Vrede Dairy Farm, the funds for the Ramkraal project, the missing funds for the Free State housing settlements under former MEC Olly Mlamleli and the alleged rampant corruption in all the Free State departments.

No sir, do not go to the Zondo Commission. We need you here.

Your show of bravery is selective. Be brave and explain to us the shambles you left in the Free State.

Ace, man up and be brave.

Do not display bravery in things that do not concern the Free State for now.
