It has been confirmed that both Botshabelo and Bloemfontein will be the host venues of the inaugural MultiChoice Diski Shield Football Championship.
Matches will be played at the Kaizer Sebothelo Stadium in Botshabelo and the Dr R.P. Molemela Stadium in Bloemfontein on 7 and 8 April, as well as on 14 April.
The first matches will feature Free State Stars, Cape Town City, Orlando Pirates, Bidvest Wits, Platinum Stars, Kaizer Chiefs, Ajax Cape Town and Bloemfontein Celtic.
On Saturday (07/04), Free State Stars will tackle Cape Town City at 10:00, with Orlando Pirates taking on Bidvest Wits at 12:00.
On Sunday (08/04), Bloemfontein Celtic will play against Ajax Cape Town at 10:00. Chiefs will take on Platinum Stars at 12:00.
Bloemfontein Celtic and Cape Town City will face off at the Dr R.P. Molemela Stadium at 10:00 on 14 April.
Clubs are grouped into four regional pools: central, coastal west, coastal east and northern. Each pool consists of four clubs.In the first round clubs will play each other once and the clubs with the most points at the end of the pool stages will progress to the semi-finals. Tickets can be collected at the stadium from Thursday and Friday from 13:00
