On 18 July every year South Africans celebrate Nelson Mandela Day and dedicated 67 minutes of their time to a good cause.

Members of the community in several towns in the Free State also participated and contributed in different ways towards the community.

Organisations, government, corporates and individuals in the province were out in numbers, committing 67 minutes to acts of kindness for the less fortunate.

This global campaign celebrates Madiba’s life and legacy in a sustainable way. This year marks ten years of Mandela Day since it was launched in 2009.
