“DESPERATION can sometimes bring the best out of you” said Jomo Moya with his pantsula smile.

He was referring to his bronze award for being amongst the best four sellers of products of an international distributor in 2015.

Moya emphasized how he took action to change his financial situation around when the chips were down.

“I should say that I had to swallow my pride and approach the local product distributor and express my wish to join his company as a consultant.

“I knew what he was doing, but it never occurred to me that an opportunity had presented itself to me. But when it clicked, I went all out and I am not surprised at my performance,” said Moya.

By his performance Moya is refering to the fact that he was declared the best seller as he sold for more than a quarter of a million rands internationally.

“I am a single parent raising three school-going girls by myself. When the eldest one was in matric and she needed a matric dance dress, I had no choice but to act.

“At least today I can proudly put food on the table and buy clothes for my girls. My girl is now in her N6 at Moremogolo FET College. If she wants to go to the university I am ready to pay for her,”said the humble father.

The sales work is difficult, but according to Moya, life is generally tough, no matter what you are doing.

“I encourage people not to undermine themselves because they do not know the millionaire in themselves.

“Be patient and start small and God will open the way for greator things,” said Moya.

According to the local distributor, Moya is a hard worker and he has endurance and he and the other consultants are the reasons why the Northern Cape branch is so succesful”.
