A GROUP of 88 deserving learners of the Kgabang Primary School in Ritchie recently received new school uniforms from the Department of Education, thanks to their school and the Ses’Fikile Group.
This gesture is expected to give the learners a sense of pride and restore their dignity, says the Department of Education.
Through spokesperson Geoffrey van der Merwe, the department further expressed its confidence that touching the lives of learners in such a manner would contribute towards the overall improvement of their performance and address absenteeism.
In an effort to continue support towards realising the dreams of learners in need, the department has rolled out similar programmes in the Namakwa and the ZF Mgcawu District.
