A big thank you

THE Greytown Gazette personnel would like to say a big thank you to all the advertisers who met the ridiculously early deadline for today's issue - you can relax on early deadlines now until 2018.

Also a big thank you to the schools that submitted reports and photos.

Readers of this issue are asked to note that putting together news, etc., the week before sort of throws normal timelines right out.

One more public holiday this year - 16 December - which fortunately falls on a Saturday - unless of course the politicians, in their wisdom, decide that because it falls on a weekend Monday should be a holiday.
