FAMILIES of the crash victims who died in a collision at the intersection of Wartburg and R33 received food parcels from uMshwathi Local Municipality and the Department of Social Development last week.

Residents of uMshwathi and surroundings gathered at the scene last Thursday to hold a prayer.

Spokesperson for Mshwathi Local Municipality Sibusiso Mkhithi said the prayer was led by faith-based organisations together with Department of Social Development MEC Nonhlanhla Khoza, mayor of uMshwathi Mandla Zondi, uMsunduzi mayor Mzimkhulu Thebola and the leadership of Santaco.
