Arsenal FC gets set to represent the district at the Nedbank Cup

ARSENAL FC emerged the winners in the Nedbank Cup playoffs under the uMzinyathi District held at King Edward Park Stadium in Greytown on Sunday, October 20.

The Glencore team first locked horns with the Greytown boys — Crusaders FC — in the semi-finals. Arsenal FC won by 4-2, defeating the Crusaders in the semi-finals. In the finals, Arsenal FC defeated Ocean FC 2-1.

The team will now represent the uMzinyathi District in the Nedbank Cup games that will be held in Ixopo on October 26.

In their next game at Ixopo, the Glencore team will be competing with Ilembe in Group B in the quarter-finals.
