From the ditch

JACK Mason’s fun day on December 9 promises all the bells and whistles.

The centenary year is going to finish with a flourish, with two games of bowls and tea in between.

Then the real fun starts with live music from The Last Musketeer (Jan Swart), Christmas lunch, prizes and an open tavern.

Last year’s part was a sell-out so make sure you arrive early and better yet, phone in to Bryan Paul at 076 127 2762.

Also, big news, Susan Nel (Springbok bowler) is visiting Greytown on December 17 and will be conducting a coaching clinic for all bowlers and interested parties at R30 for the day.

Braai fire will be lit, so bring your flat shoes and some bare money and join us.
