WE had a very busy weekend at the club - Happy Hour on Friday and Wembley golf on Saturday.
Starting with the Happy Hour winners, also a fluke of note, both winners were husband and wife. Aaron Marinus and Michelle Powell took home the money and the Chivas. Nadine Fouche and Jackie Chapman won the consolation prizes. Thank you to Leon Taljaard for sponsoring the meal and for including us in celebrating his 60th birthday.
Wembley Golf Day once again was a huge success with 72 golfers playing. Thank you to Dieter Meyer and his PA team for the efforts in making this day a success. The winners were M. Msomi and B. Zuma on 47 points. Second was R. Tarr and D. Pieterse with 45 points.
The next three slots had the same score and were counted out - M. Caldicott and S. Muna, T. Muller and M. Muller, R. Misselhorn and R. Jeffery all ended on 44 points.
