WHAT a match. Greytown Giants played the Nigel Dam Rhinos for the first time ever last Friday and had a whopping 74-5 win!
As the third and fourth divisions have now been combined, this was the first meeting between the two teams.
The enthusiastic support from a large group of local fans was much appreciated by the team.
Man of the match was awarded to very deserving recipients, JP Van Der Merwe for the back line, and Khanyiso Majola for the front line.
This Friday, the Greytown Giants will play against the very strong Voortrekker old boys team. This is probably the biggest challenge they will face for the season.
