IFP Youth Brigade under Ndaka Mnambithi constituency took a stand to fight against Gender Based Violence recently.

Youth chairperson Ntuthuko Thabede said: “As young people we are taking a stand in fighting this [pandemic] that has struck our communities.

“Since the start of coronavirus last year the number of gender based violence increased due to most of people staying at home. This is a crime that our government should take seriously. We urge young people to protect each other and their families and fight against gender-based violence. Let’s be the first people to eradicate the spread of gender based violence in our communities.”
