Late billing of Greytown consumer accounts

THE Umvoti Municipality this week issued a press statement to notify consumers that accounts will be delayed this month due to technical difficulties arising from the migration to the new mSCOA financial sys- tem.

This change to the Municipal Standard Chart of Accounts (mSCOA) is a legal requirement of National Treasury.

Acting municipal manager, Mrs T.N. Ngiba said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this delay, extensions will be given for payments.”
