THE community came out in full force to support the successful senior citizens’ soccer tournament held on Sunday, March 18, at the Nseleni sports ground.
The trophy was won by the Nseleni Taxi Association team which beat Nseleni by two goals to one. Mafutha Mbeje scored the two winning goals and Mthamo Sithole scored Nseleni Legend’s one goal.
Spokesperson for the event Khulekani Zondi expressed the community’s appreciation to Hoosen’s Butchery in Greytown and Umzinyathi District Mayor Ngubane for their sponsorship.
