THE Greytown Gazette publishes a Shadow Column at the end of each month listing events to come during the year.
The objective is to notify the public of what events are scheduled to take place in order to avoid, as far as possible, two events on the same date.
This "double dating" could create problems not only for the organisers, but also for the public who want to support the events.
Therefore an appeal goes out to schools, welfare organisations, churches NGOs, sports bodies, clubs, etc., to submit dates and details of events to the Greytown Gazette for publication.
