ST DAVID’S held a competition to raise funds for school resources and upgrades.

The prize was a beautiful crochet blanket in the school colours (blue), which had been hand made by the teachers in their spare time. The official ticket draw took place last week with great anticipation as everyone was hoping to win the prize.

The winning name was drawn by Reverend Eric Mathonsi, who is the school’s chaplain and a member of board. The lucky winner was Samantha Hechter, one of theGrade 7 pupils. An incentive cash prize was offered by the school for the pupil who sold the most sheets of tickets.
