TAXI drivers in Kranskop, near the Greytown area are calling on the provincial Department of Transport to repair roads that are riddled with huge potholes.

The fed-up taxi drivers said in the past 10 years they are forced to drive from Greytown to Matimatolo on a pothole riddled P549 Road in Ahrens near Kranskop. Despite numerous complaints made to the Department of Transport to fix these roads, all their complaints proved to be fruitless.

Chairperson of Hlokomela and Matimatolo Taxi Association, Musa Dlomo said their taxi drivers had been complaining to the office of the association about the bad state of Greytown roads.
