FAMILY and friends were devastated at the news last Thursday of the tragic death of 43-year-old Renesh Bhagwandeen of Greytown.

Renesh, who worked for a vehicle company in Pietermaritzburg, was travelling home on Wednesday evening, having delivered a vehicle to the Eastern Cape when he was said to have been hijacked at a “stop-and-go” section of the road.

The tracking company was alerted, but Renesh’s body was found in his vehicle.

Renesh matriculated from Greytown Secondary School and while working in Pietermaritzburg, lived with his wife, two children and mother in Greytown.

The funeral service took place on Friday.
