THERE are various challenges NPO sector faced in light of the Covid-19 pandemic and the various other financial difficulties which were further perpetuated by the lockdown season.

Umvoti Aids Centre has been thoroughly fortunate to be in a position to carry on doing what they first and foremost love doing and are called to do.

General manager at the centre Sithuthukile Mchunu said: “We therefore embarked on Operation Khuculula in order to ensure that our yard and community garden is left in an impeccable state; as it has been partially maintained due to financial constraints.
