SUPPORT the Hillcrest Aids Centre’s Trust (Hact) plant nursery and help uplift families impacted by HIV/Aids.
Hact’s plant nursery is one of the charity’s many economic empowerment projects that give local families impacted by HIV/Aids hope for a brighter future. One of the nursery’s current staff members is Xolani Zondi. Through Hact, Zondi has acquired numerous skills, including how to propagate plants and make concrete pots, which are also sold in the nursery. Speaking of his job, he said: “I’m very proud of my job because I can now support my family and through Hact can also help others who are in need in the community.
“I enjoy growing the plants and seeing the customers leave happy with what they have bought from us.” — Supplied.
