THE Main Group of Spars , Main Spar, Sarnia Spar, Escombe Spar and Hillary Spar, donated a R250 voucher each to two Escombe primary School pupils, Senzo Biyela and Johnathan Visagie, who have done extraordinary well within their school.
According to group promotions and advertising spokesperson of the Main Group of Spars, Tersia Taskes said, Senzo is a Grade 7 pupil, a promising athlete who represented the Umlazi District at the Durban South Regional Championship. He is a young man of many talents and has also excelled at long jump and high jump. He represents Escombe Primary School by participating in swimming, hockey, cricket and athletics. Senzo can be very proud of the talented sportsman that he is.
And as for Johnathan, a Grade 5 pupil and an accomplished chess player undefeated in the Queensburgh and District zone and was also selected to represent KZN at National level.
Johnathan is also a budding sportsman who has participated and excelled at swimming, hockey, soccer, cricket, shot put and he also plays club rugby. Well done Johnathan of all your sporting achievements.
“We have decided to acknowledge pupils who have achieved beyond average accomplishments in academics, sports, recreational and community activities.
“We are proud of the young achievers and would like to recognise them for their outstanding achievements,” said Taskes.
