Celebrate National Cupcake Day

GET down to Fountains Mall this Saturday and treat yourself and your family to a delicious cupcake, while supporting a good cause - one cupcake at a time.

Cupcakes of Hope will celebrate National Cup Cake Day for Kids with Cancer at Fountains Mall on September 30 from 09:30.

Cupcakes of Hope is a non-profit company that aims to raise awareness of the early warning signs of childhood cancer, as well as to raise funds to support children, and their families, who have been diagnosed with childhood cancer.

Funds raised to date by the organisation have helped to pay for medical and living expenses for over 250 children.

“It is amazing to see how a little cupcake can make such an enormous difference in people’s lives,” says founder of Cupcakes of Hope, Sandy Cipriano.

There will be nearly 1 500 cupcakes on display this coming Saturday at their stand outside Slater’s Toy Magic. For a mere R10 donation you will receive a beautifully decorated cupcake - the sweetest way to save a life.
