OPENING their doors to the public in August 2014, Bergens Appliances Repairs and Spares celebrated five years of business in Pietermaritzburg, serving the public by ensuring that all appliances leave their store in a better condition than they were received in.

Situated on 26 Greyling Street, Bergens specialises in repairing faulty appliances such as washing machines, tumble driers and fridges etc with their emphasis on fixing appliances rather than replacing them.

“With the current economy the way it is and more and more consumers feeling the pinch we think it is better to treat and fix old appliances rather than buy new appliances, thus sparing the consumers pockets while ensuring that their appliances are good as new once they leave our store,” said store manager, Shanila Orie.

Operating as one of the many branches of Bergen’s in South Africa, Bergen’s offers a special whereby any customer who comes to the store with their appliance will receive a free quote on their appliance and if you do not accept the quote the appliance will be returned completely free of charge.

“We strive to repair appliances with the utmost sense of urgency and professionalism,” said Orie.
