THE Shelembe family in Scottsville say they are tired of ‘being abused’ by Msunduzi Municipality who they claim disconnects their electricity every month even though they have paid their bills and they get charged a reconnection fee the following month.

This problem has been going on for about eight months and the family has been paying a R604 reconnection fee on top on their electricity bill every month.

Bongani Shelembe who is the home owner told Echo that despite the fact that they always pay their bills on time. They always get disconnected and the people who come to disconnect them, bring outdated statements.
