A GOSPEL artist from Sweetwaters, Ntando Mkhize, will for the first time host a gospel concert that is aimed at bringing people together.
The concert, titled “The Move”, will be held at Winston Churchill Theatre on October 26 from 6 pm till late and is organised by Rehoboth Communications.
Mkhize said although this a first for the event, the organisers have plans to host it annually.
“The aim for this concert is to bring people together and praise the Lord through music.
“We will be celebrating how God has moved us from where we were and where we are here today and still surviving.
“This concert is not about one person as I also want to give upcoming local gospel artist an opportunity to showcase their talents and prepare them for the industry,” said Mkhize.
He said he will also be recording his live extended play which will be released later this year or in January next year.
“Some of the songs that will be performed in the concert will be featured in my EP. This is my first EP and I want people to be involved.”
Tickets for the concert are R110 general and R160 VIP.
