OUR general practioners are Dr Jeannette Oosthuizen, Dr Sujatha Harrylal and Dr Sarah Halgreen.

We pride ourselves in providing a quality and affordable primary care service.

This includes vaccinations, sterilizations, dentistry, general surgery and the diagnosing and treating of your loved ones.

Dr Martin de Scally is the practice owner and is a small animal medicine specialist. Martin’s passion is pain control and non-invasive diagnosis and treatment of sick animals. He sees endocrine cases, cardio respiratory cases, critical care cases dermatology cases, gastroenterology cases, neurological cases and oncology cases.

Hilton Veterinary Hospital also takes referrals for difficult unresolvable cases, from vets, at other practices in the area. We also see many referrals from other parts of KwaZulu Natal. Martin lectures internationally for the World Small Animal Vet Association.

Dr Daniela Steckler is also part of our team. She is a reproduction specialist and is available to assist with all breeding related queries.

We offer a nurse’s clinics to discuss diets and weight control, give treatments, perform laser therapy and some other minor procedures.

Hilton Vet Hospital offers 24-hour monitoring of patents, extended opening hours and 24-hour availability of our vets for emergencies. We have extensive diagnostic and therapeutic equipment which allows us to offer a high level of care to sick animals.

We produce informative newsletters with lots of helpful information, case studies and feel good patient stories.

Avenue, opposite the Hilton Quarry Centre.

Our consulting hours are weekdays 8 am to 9 pm, Saturdays 9 am to midday, Sundays and public holidays 9 am to 10 am. Emergencies are seen immediately although we do work on an appointment system. — Supplied
