DIRECTOR of the City’s library services, Mandla Ntombela, will soon be leaving Msunduzi for Grahamstown where he will assume the position of chief executive of the South African Library for the Blind (SALB).

“It’s time for a new challenge and I’m quite excited to join the SALB team,” he said.

Ntomebela joined Msunduzi straight out of university as an assistant librarian in 2004 and he was promoted to the principal librarian the following year. He briefly went to eThekwini in 2010 but came back in 2012 where he assumed the position of the city’s director of library services.
