Neighbour sentenced to double life imprisonment for murder and rape

A 43-year-old man was sentenced to two terms of life imprisonment for the murder and rape of an elderly woman.

Nkosiyezwe David Gwala was sentenced by Pietermaritzburg High Court on Tuesday, after the court heard how he killed the woman in Inchanga.

On December 14, 2019 at 11am, Thandi Magwaza (62) left her home at KaDenge area in Inchanga and did not return home.
