MARITZBURG United’s disturbed diehards need only look at the club’s pathetic position in the DStv Premiership standings to accept coach Ernst Middendorp’s feeling that there needs to be constant introspection and probably a couple of new signings made in the current transfer window.
The window opened on January 18 and runs until February 15.
It was initially scheduled for February 1 to March 1 because of the late start to the season due to Covid-19, but the dates were changed following a succesful appeal by a few domestic clubs who were facing different and conflicting player registration periods for African inter-club competitions.
