ALL year, the OK Franchise Division judging team has been actively assessing its OK MiniMark convenience outlets in a bid to find a deserving recipient for its Franchisee of the Year award.
Only one OK MiniMark store from the distinguished group of finalists is awarded the title annually.
To get closer to naming that one store, the OK Franchise Division announced the top stores on Saturday 18 August, and in the running is the local OK Minimark in College Road, Pietermaritzburg.
Brothers Greg and Justin Maskell, who have traded under the OK MiniMark banner for 10 years, expressed how honoured they are that their store has been nominated. They gave credit for the nomination to having professional staff and great support from both the OK head office and other OK owners who’ve assisted them over the years.
Greg and Justin were invited to attend this year’s OK Franchise Division conference in Lisbon, Portugal from September 7 to September 11.
At a gala dinner during the conference, the winning OK MiniMark will be announced.
Greg and Justin are holding thumbs that they will be bringing the award back here to Pietermaritzburg.
Congratulations to the Maskells on the nomination of their store.
We hope their trip to Lisbon is exciting and that the No.1 OK MiniMark franchise will indeed be their College Road store.
The OK Franchise Division conducts their Franchisee of the Year campaign annually as part of their commitment to continually improve and grow the OK Minimark brand, which currently comprises 95 individually owned stores across South Africa, Namibia, and Swaziland. — Supplied.
