THE Pietermaritzburg and District Community Chest welcomes its new chairperson, Primi Chetty, and new executive director, Richard Rangiah.
Community Chest was established on August 3, 1960.
The non-profit, reputable organisation prides itself in having served the community for 57 years.
“Our work in uplifting the less fortunate within our community can only be achieved through the generosity of donors, volunteers and supporters within our city Pietermaritzburg and Umgungundlovu Municipality,” said Angie Narayan, Chest manager.
This long-standing organisation also depends immensely on the guidance of professional and committed individuals who serve on council and can lead the organisation to the next level.
“We wish our new chairperson and executive director everything of the best and entrust this longstanding organisation in your capable hands,” she said.
