POLICE officers from the Alexandra Road Vehicle Crime Investigation unit followed up on intelligence with regards to a suspected stolen vehicle in the Rietvlei area on October 23.
According to KZN police spokesperson Brigadier Jay Naicker, the vehicle was spotted at KwaToyi in Rietvlei and was intercepted.
“The vehicle had no registration plates or licence disk.
Investigations revealed that the vehicle was stolen in Umzinto in August,” said Naicker, who added that a 22-year-old suspect was arrested for possession of suspected stolen property.
“He recently appeared at the Greytown Magistrate’s Court.
Court details are to follow,” said Naicker.
