THE fifth Face of KZN Model Search Contest to be held on September 2 is appealing for financial support from business. Since it’s inception in 2013 the Face of KZN Model Search Contest has never been funded by a private sector - it depends entirely on monies from it’s founder, Bengs Nkosi, a teacher.

“The only support I have been getting are gift vouchers that are given to the winners as prizes,” Nkosi said.

The Msunduzi Municipality has sponsored the city hall as the venue since 2014.

Fifteen boys and 15 girls from all over KwaZulu-Natal will be competing for the title and there is R40 000 in prizes to be won.

The prizes for this year have been sponsored by Nkosi, Virgin Active, Cine Centre, Irene’s Models Agency, MoBella Beauty Salon, Phinduvuke Travel, 033 Lifestyle, 39 Degrees Photography, Midlands Computer Training Centre and Sbu’s Professional Salon.

The winners will spend 12 months conducting motivational talks and exercises with youths at schools and in the community.

Those willing to help can contact Nkosi on 083 241 1291 or via email at bcankosi@gmail.com - Supplied.
