THE Covid-19 pandemic has had a negative impact to most people but for some of Pietermaritzburg’s homeless people it has had a positive spin-off.

Last Friday marked exactly a year since the country registered the first positive case of Covid-19, of a man from Hilton who travelled overseas with his friends.

Echo spoke to the homeless people in the city to find out how has the pandemic affected them.
