ANC stalwarts and veterans have launched the Defend our Democracy campaign aimed at protecting democratic institutions against belligerent ANC members whose behaviour has put the party in the spotlight, questioning whether the ANC is committed to the rule of law.

This has been triggered by Jacob Zuma’s defiance of the Constitutional Court order compelling him to appear before the Zondo Commission of Inquiry into state capture.
