Celebrating heritage

Annually the Pietermaritzburg Heritage Forum gets together to promote events which draw attention to the varied heritage of the people of South Africa during September which has become known as Heritage Month. An interesting programme of 13 events, starting on 2 September until 27 September has been put together. The main speakers include Dr. Graham Dominy on “Fort Napier, The City and its legacy”, John Conyngham will talk on his research in producing his latest book “Hazara- Elegy for an African Farm” and Dr. Estelle Liebenberg-Barkhuizen on “Preserving family photographs”. Talking Parenting

Colour Run PMB

The Colour Run Pietermaritzburg is taking place at Epworth School on 2 October from 10am to 1.30pm. Tickets cost R250 per person or R225 per team of four to 10, children under 10 run free.
