A CLELAND woman is living in fear, because of the water stream next to her house that has now turned into a big ‘trench’ posing a danger to her and her family.
Philisiwe Mzolo, who lives on Murray Road, told Echo that the water stream gets wider every time it is raining it is getting closer to her house. She fears that it might end up damaging her outside wall.
Mzolo said she started to notice that the stream was getting wider when it rained in July last year and she decided to report the matter to the ward councillor Vic Winterbach, who then advised her to write a letter that he will forward to the municipality. But since then nothing has been done in preventing this water stream from getting wider and becoming a danger to them.
